Deborah Ballins Schwarz graduated from Loyola Law School and was a member of the Law Review. She was admitted to practice in 1978, and received her LLM degree in taxation from Loyola Law School in 2008.
Her firm focuses on Elder Law, Special Needs planning, and assessment of government benefits. Because of Deborah’s extensive litigation background, she also handles contested Conservatorships with the goal of maintaining her client’s dignity. She brings comprehensive expertise in advising clients about eligibility, asset preservation and recovery claim issues for Medi-Cal matters.
Deborah is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the Academy of Special Needs Planners; San Gabriel Estate Planning Council; Elder Counsel; and the Monrovia Providers Group. She also serves as a member of the Probate Volunteer Panel of attorneys for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
